Large, white, scented single flowers tinged with pink at the petal tips. Upright and vigorous habit. Flowers October to November. Prefers a sunny, sheltered position.

'Narumigata' is very similar to, and often confused with, Camellia oleifera which is itself a very variable species. The habit of 'Narumigata' is more open and spreading than that of C.oleifera.
