Camellia sasanqua Navajo
 
A variety that originated in Japan but which was renamed on being imported into the US by Nuccio's Nurseries. The red buds open to white flowers with a central mass of yellow stamens, each petal being bordered in bright red-pink. Vigorous, upright and bushy growth. Free-flowering in October/November, but as with many sasanquas grown in the UK, it benefits from being given plenty of warmth and sun in the summer months.

    Intense red coloured flowers on first opening, developing into a large, white semi-double with a red border. Vigorous, upright and bushy growth. Flowers in autumn/winter, mid season.

This is the second time that I have purchased a gift and yet again the recipient was delighted with their gift.
